Oscar R. Clark, 69 of Stockton Missouri passed away in his sleep from a long battle with lymphoma on Friday, October 5, 2012. Oscar was born in Stockton Missouri on December 4, 1942 to parents, George and Ella (Martin) Clark. Oscar was a member of the Stockton Christian Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner, always willing to lend a helping hand to others, life long agrarian who enjoyed raising cattle. Owner and operator of a farming operation and a construction company, Clark Construction built many houses, barns, and businesses locally. Oscar also traveled with his wife Rosemary while working as a superintendent for several construction companies to oversee the successful completion of many retail tenant construction projects until his diagnosis in the early 00’s Oscar enjoyed fishing with friends and family. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings; Lyda Rogers and Minnie Mae Langford. Oscar is survived by his wife Rosemary (Tolle) Clark of 48 years, by their three children, Richard Clark, Barbara Reed, Julie Henry, four grandchildren, Eric Wishon, Jacob Wishon, Elliott Henry, Julieanne Henry, two brothers, Martin Clark, Robert Clark, and three sisters, Nancy Cully, Donna Burns, and Judy Oberly and families. Funeral services, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Stockton Christian Church, 703 West Street, Stockton, MO under the care of Brumback Funeral Home. Visitation, Monday, October 8, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home, 306 South High St, Stockton MO.Burial will be in Stockton Cemetery.
